This universal ceiling fan remote control kit (FAN-HD/FANHD5+FAN28R) is compatible with most major 3-speed AC ceiling fans, including popular brands like Hampton Bay, Harbor Breeze, Hunter, Home Decorators Collection, Honeywell, Kichler, and allen+roth. It's the perfect upgrade for your existing AC ceiling fans.

The universal remote control kit is compatible with a wide range of FCC IDs and model numbers, ensuring seamless integration with your ceiling fan. The durable and powerful black receiver features upgraded relays, providing better dimming performance than traditional thyristor-based designs. With a rated power of 240W, it can handle a greater number of light bulbs than standard receivers.

Intuitive Fan and Light Control

The ceiling fan remote control kit offers comprehensive control, with 5 buttons for 3-speed (High/Medium/Low) fan control, as well as light dimming. The light dimmer function works well with dimmable CFL/LED lights and all incandescent lamps. However, please note that most LED/CFL lights are non-dimmable, and the remote will only provide on/off control, which may cause flickering when using the dimming feature.

Effortless Installation and Compatibility

Setting up the remote is straightforward, with the ability to match the dip switches on the transmitter and receiver to one of 16 different frequencies. The receiver wires are clearly labeled, making installation and connection to the ceiling fan motor a breeze.

Please note that this remote control does not have a reverse button. If your ceiling fan has a pull-chain switch, it's recommended to set the fan to the maximum speed and turn the light on before using the remote control. This ensures seamless integration between the pull-chain switch and the remote.

The remote control requires a 12V battery, which is not included in the package.
